Information Services

The Information Service Corner is on the 3rd floor of the Nagoya International Center and is  open to the public free of charge. Inquiries can be made in person, over the phone, or by e-mail. At the Information Services Corner, a large screen TV is installed which runs a variety of informational videos.


The counter has a wealth of local information about:

  • English-speaking doctors and dentists
  • Japanese language schools
  • City guides
  • Sightseeing information
  • Municipal information (refuse collection, taxes, services)
  • Earthquake disaster prevention guides
  • The local travel infrastructure
  • Cultural classes and groups
  • Open: 09:00 – 19:00; closed on Mondays, December 29 to January 3, and the 2nd Sundays of August and February.

Information Boards

The Nagoya International Center’s 3F Information Counter also has a popular Information Board section where individuals and non-profit organizations can post notices in the following categories:

  • Accommodation – Got a place and looking for a room mate?
  • Buy and Sell – Sayonara sales etc.

Applications should be made in person at the 3F Information Counter. Certain categories are subject to some restrictions & requirements. Notices will be posted on the board for a period of two weeks.

Pamphlet Boxes
If you are looking for information related to international exchange and cooperation, we offer a large variety in an easy accessible, popular location. The 300 pamphlet boxes located in the corridor outside our information counter offer a large variety of pamphlets covering such areas as daily living information, the introduction of international exchange organizations, event announcements, study abroad programs, and language schools.
